Experience a green low-emission holiday with a stay at one of these two luxury yurts set on a Macadamia Farm in Eureka, 32kms inland from Byron Bay and 35kms from Brunswick.
The Space
Each yurt is a circular space crafted with the materials and style of traditional Mongolian yurts, over a wooden floor, and insulated with thick felt. Both have heating for the cooler months and fans for those balmy Byron Bay summers.
The interiors delight with modern French-style touches and beautifully upcycled furniture. Each yurt accommodates up to three guests with a double bed and futon. The spacious open-plan living also includes a comfy lounge, dining, and a kitchen. Each yurt has a private bathroom with towels and toiletries.
On the eco front, the power to each yurt is supplied by solar power, and the water is supplied by rainwater.
The Terracota Yurt features a pot belly stove and is surrounded by decking for outdoor living. While the Ivory Yurt has a cosy fireplace.
