At the Hulbert House Luxury Boutique Lodge Queenstown you can choose from the Grand Room and Premium Rooms, each named after historical moments in Hulbert House’s past.

For example, the Archerfield Room is named for a time between 1942 and 1945. During this time the house was leased by Archerfield Girls School of Dunedin. The house was a safe place for the girls during the Second World War.

The Space

Each room is lavishly decorated and furnished in historic style, with views of either Lake Wakatipu, Skyline Hill, or the hotel’s beautiful garden.

The Grand Room has the best views and is furnished in purple, royal blue, and gold interiors.

You’ll appreciate the turn-down service each evening and a night on your soft feather-like warm bed is sure to detox your body and mind.

The rooms have air conditioning and heating, Egyptian linens, and bathrobes. You’ll love the full gourmet breakfast with sourdough bread, raspberry, chia seed pots, eggs, and bacon.

Guest Review

The decoration of the property is gorgeous, the breakfast, pre-dinner canapes and refreshments, chocolate brownies and slices are fantastic. The room service pays extra attention to details. The location is perfect, a short walking distance to town.
