Escape the crowds at this glamping sanctuary in a peaceful river and bush setting in Whakamarama. You’re only 20 minutes north from the centre of Tauranga but a world away. With nature all around why not settle into one of the outdoor beanbags and watch deer amble by as you listen to the birds singing.

The Space:

This flash safari tent is spacious and exquisitely designed with Moroccan-style interiors, lighting and décor to create a welcoming, cosy space. The beds are extra-large with top-notch linen, the bathroom is tiled, and you have a rustic kitchen with fridge and a dining setting.

The laid-back sofas in the lounge are ideal for reading and playing with the board games and puzzles. A large BBQ and outdoor furniture are perfect for al-fresco dining.

Includes a large double bed, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, TV, outdoor dining, and the pièce de résistance is the outdoor bath. Your only neighbours – the friendly cows!

Amazing escape. All of the facilities and added extras were so special. Private and delightful. The pool area was a real treat. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of food and yummy fruit.

Five minutes from Ngongotaha Village, in rolling Rotorua farmland, you’ll find two contemporary Bell Tents for a perfect glamping getaway.

Each tent accommodates two guests with a king-size bed, heating and hotel-style interiors surrounded by landscaped grounds. You can rent one or both tents (the price for two is discounted) but whichever you choose you’ll have the place to yourself.

The rustic outdoor covered kitchen comes with a large BBQ and gas hobs for casual cooking, while the decked dining and entertaining area are stylish and relaxing with beanbags and lounging chairs.
